Fabulous Arts n Crafts from Arthur Simpson , Kendal Cumbria, sometimes referred to as a Spinning chair, otherwise , Stool with high-back, after an Italian design, in this case ,Simpson was a wood carver, from c1880 to 1920, and formed a company , named "Handicrafts"

Even became friends with Charles Voysey, and his own son eventually carried the company on until 1950.

This chair in virtual mint condition is a fabulous example of that period.
